History and Development of Quadcopter

Quadcopter is also known as quadrotor helicopter or quadrotor. The Quadcopter is propelled by four rotors in which the two motors rotate in clockwise direction and other two motor rotate in anti-clockwise direction. The Quadcopter is controlled by speed of each motor with that it is moved forward direction, backward direction, right direction and left direction.

Who invented the Quadcopter?

Breguet-Richet designed the first four rotor helicopter in 1907 with the help from Charles Richet. The Gyroplane 1 which he made is flew upto 0.6 meters and Gyroplane 2 which had 2 blades had flew upto 7.85 m.

First Successful Quadcopter

The Quadcopoter was developed to solve the problem that helicopter could takeoff vertically. The First Successful Quadcopter was Omnichen 2, invented by Etienne Omnichen in the year 1920. The Flight had made 1000 Successful flights and flew upto 360 meters.

Remote Control Quadcopters

In Last few decades, many small scaled unmanned aerial vehicles have been used for various purposes. Recent development in electronics cheap and light weighted quadcopters were designed and manufactured. However early development prototype suffered from poor performance, poor stability and control.

Brushless Quadcopter motors

For past years they were using normal motors for quadcopters which drain the battery sooner so the quadcopters could not travel a longer distance. Replacing that Brushless quadcopter motors were introduced which is more efficient and reliable. It is used to drive the quadcopters for longer distances without draining the battery life. Now many quadcopters were using the Brushless quadcopter motors.

Types of Quadcopter

AeroQuad – Open Source hardware and software which is basically arduino projects which flew only minimum height and travels an small distance.

Parrot AR Drone – Parrot AR Drone are basically a radio controlled quadcopters which could be operated with the help of the Smart phones or Tablets.

Nixie – Nixie is a Small Camera Equipped drone which could be Wrist or Band. Nixie can be activated to unfold into quadcopter, which fly into its preprogrammed tasks such that to take photos or videos.

AirBus – Airbus is a Battery powered quadcopter which is used as Urban      air taxi which fly autonomously in future.

Uses of Quadcopters

Military and law Enforcement

The Quadcopters are used in military and law enforcement for surveillance and rescue missions in urban areas.

Photography

The Quadcopters are used in photography for aerial imagery and it is suitable for this job because of their autonomous nature and huge cost savings

Drone –delivery

The quadcopters are used in delivering the food and products. Many Company were in the research field in drone delivery system.

Sports

The quadcopters are used to capture the photos and videos in clear view during the matches were the top view photos or videos were got with the help of this.

Ice Bergs Melt due to Carbon dioxide

Ice Bergs Melt due to Carbon dioxide What is CO2?                                  CO2 which is expanded has Carbon dioxide . The CO2 in atmosphere is 0.04 and present in Earth Atmosphere. The CO2 is basically an Green House Gas which plays in important role in Maintaining Earth Average Temperature of 57 degrees Fahrenheit . The CO2 is basically an heat trapping effective green house gas. It does not trap all gas molecule on IR radiations and it also remits the IR radiations during night where other else earth average temperature will be 0 degrees Fahrenheit . Any how not only CO2 all green house gases plays an important role in it. How CO2 produced?                              CO2 is given naturally by respiration and deforestation and Main r...
